Paolo Dario isProfessor of Biomedical Robotics, Director of the BioRobotics Institute and Directorof the PhD Program in BioRobotics at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa,Italy. He is also Professor, National Thousand Foreign Talents Program atTianjin University, China and Professor and Senior Principal Investigator atthe Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems,China. His current research interests are in the field of bio-robotics andbionics. He is an IEEE Fellow, served as President of the IEEE Robotics andAutomation Society and received several prizes and Awards, including the 2017IEEE RAS Pioneer Award in Biorobotics.
