QU Daokui, professor at Chinese Academy ofSciences (CAS), Ph.D. advisor, founder and president of SIASUN Robot &Automation Co., Ltd., deputy director of National Engineering Research Centerof Robotics. He is holding concurrent posts as head of National RoboticsStandardization General Working Group of China, chair of China Robot IndustryInnovation Alliance, president of China Robot Industry Alliance, inauguralrotating chair of China Intelligent Manufacturing System Integrator Consortium,director of Robotics Commission of Chinese Association of Automation, member ofNational Foundation Evaluation Commission, and member of National Science andTechnology Awards Evaluation Commission. He was granted the Science andTechnology Award for Chinese Youth, CAS Award for Youth Scientists, and GMChina Science and Technology Achievement Award, and named "China's Top TenPersons of the Year in Scientific Innovation (2014)", and "China'sTop Ten Economic Leader (2015)". He received two Second Prizes of NationalScience and Technology Progress Award, one CAS Special Award for Science and TechnologyProgress, and over ten provincial and ministerial awards for science andtechnology achievements.
