Mr. Han-Pang Huang, a tenured professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering under the Institute of Industrial Engineering in Taiwan University, is a professor of Zong Zhuozhang Lecture in College of Engineering in National Taiwan University, a member of IEEE PAB and executive committee of World Robot Olympiad. He is recognized as one of the important contributor of the promotion of automation capability from 60% to 90% in Taiwan industry community, and thus is leading the field of robot R&D in Taiwan. His research focuses on intelligent robot, bio-robot, prosthetic hand, photo-electromechanical integration, human-computer interaction behavior, control system, manufacturing automation and production scheduling and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).
